Include your resume, experience, and describe to us the type of instruction you’d like to be involved with. If we are interested we will arrange a meeting at the park.

Instructors at North Shore Bike Park earn at least $30 for one hour and as much as $40 for an hour of instruction

Would you like to instruct at North Shore Bike Park? Or even run a program of your own design using North Shore Bike Park as your learning facility?

Instructors at North Shore Bike Park earn $30 for the first hour of instruction and then their regular rate ($18 to $25 based on experience) for each subsequent hour.   Instructors who promote themselves and bring to the park their own students earn an additional $10 for the first hour, as do instructors who are directly requested by the student when signing up for lessons*. 
 

No training certification required

But it helps.  Without question having PMBIA or NCCP or other professional certification is an asset.  But we will also consider other forms of experience including prior training, a history of competition, or other relevant background.  Let us know on your application.

No first aid certification required

 

The floor staff in the park are first aid certified and available when required.  In the event of an accident they will take over the scene and alert necessary support.​

Teach just about anything
 

At North Shore Bike Park we offer access to Bikes, Scooters, Skateboards, Roller Skates (not inline skates, sorry), and Unicycles!   Your instruction can include any of these activities.  Note that Skateboards require some special requirements so talk to us.

Instructors must show a valid RCMP Criminal Record Check & Vulnerable Sector Check.

*To have your name available within the registration process you must demonstrate professionalism, an amount of consistency and receive positive reviews.
