For over 20 years, I’ve managed, coached and instructed youth programs/camps, and women’s only programs. For me, meeting my students where they are at, and providing a safe and encouraging space to learn to ride is essential.
I have formal education in coaching including a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology,
National Coaching Institute (NCCP, Level 4), Capilano University’s Mountain Bike Operation Certificate and held previous certifications with PMBIA.
I’m so excited to be coaching and instructing at North Shore Bike Park as it brings me as much joy as riding.
I recently immigrated to Canada from Ukraine just this past year, having grown up and learned to ride BMX in my home country.
I have ridden parks throughout Europe but recently I’ve been visiting all the Vancouver area parks regularly, especially Kirkstone, near my home in North Vancouver, where you’ll most often find me when I’m not working here at North Shore Bike Park.
I have coached with Pedalheads and now with North Shore Bike Park. I like to teach about the bike itself, how to tune and repair it and keep it running, and then get into teaching fun tricks for riders of any age and skill level. BMX has become a huge part of my life and I want to share it with anyone who is even a little curious.
