Intro to Park – Sundays (BMX)
Intro to Park gives kids a guided tour of what it is to participate in a park session at North Shore Bike Park. The September Club runs for three Sundays from 9:30am to 11:30am beginning Sunday, September 10.
Max Tkhoryk is a North Shore BMX’er who recently immigrated to Canada from Ukraine. He has ridden too many parks in Europe to count and is now touring the Vancouver area parks, especially North Shore Bike Park where he is also a Supervisor. About this Club
Riders will first be helped with the sizing of their helmets and the safety of their bikes before being led though various areas of the park where they’ll learn about sessioning, park safety, and general park etiquette. Riders will be helped with basic skills if required, including standing up on their pedals, pumping on a pump track, and general bike control.
An experienced BMX Leader will be their guide for the two hours per day, 3 days a month and ensure they are safe and having a good time while learning more about BMX and riding in a park.
Naturally riders may stay and ride for the rest of the day and enjoy the discounts associated with their wristband.
Cost: $180 plus tax
