Summer Camps

Come and join us for summer camps at North Shore Bike Park!
There are no other camps like them anywhere in the lower mainland and no other indoor bike park in British Columbia!

But wait!  There’s more!

  • All campers receive Day Passes and so can stay after camp to ride the rest of the day! (Riders 11 and under must have a guardian aged 12+ in the park.  This can be a friend or sibling but must be registered with us at Reception)

  • All Campers receive a free North Shore Bike Park TShirt

  • Families of campers can also enjoy the park during the week for 20% off entry! That’s better than our usual rate of 15% off!

  • Rental bikes for campers are only $10 per day!

  • All campers are eligible for discounts in the food court at participating restaurants.  Includes Pizza, Sushi, Donair, and A&W. Many are offering campers a $10 meal option.

  • Store a bike with us for the week for $50

  • Parents receive 10% off anything in the Pro Shop not marked down, including Troy Lee Designs equipment and apparel, Bicycles and accessories, and Havoc Scooters and Accessories, for the duration of the week!

  • Parents enjoy 10% off future bookings of Birthday Parties, Day Passes and 10Packs, even memberships!  These may be purchased at any time leading up to and during your child’s week of camp, once registered.

Who is this for?

Participants must be able to ride their bikes confidently enough to ride on local pedestrian/bike paths without training wheels. Some trail experience is recommended. Riders will be introduced to the park and the various terrain options as a group and do not need prior experience in a bike park.

All campers are expected to be welcoming of all other campers regardless of their skill level and to provide support and encouragement to others.

What to Bring

Your Bike! Or rent one!

Ensure your bike (Mountain or BMX) is in excellent condition and has undergone recent servicing. Our Skills Camp instructors will conduct a safety check before the course begins. While we’ll address minor issues, participants bear responsibility for their bike’s overall condition. Those with unsafe bicycles won’t be permitted to join the ride for everyone’s safety.

No training wheels
No kickstands
You must have bar-ends
If you are in need of a rental bike they are offered to campers at only $10 per day and can be paid for in advance at Reception.

Your Shoes!

We recommend a high-quality mountain biking shoe or suitable BMX shoe with a flat sole when using flat pedals. You can find these flat pedal shoes at your nearby bike shop, representing a valuable gear investment for your biking pursuits.

Protective Gear and Helmets!

Participation in any cycling activity requires mandatory helmet usage without exceptions. We highly recommend a full-face helmet which you cane rent if you choose from the front desk. Additionally, it’s recommended that participants bring and wear any comfortable body armour throughout the camp. Common choices include knee/shin protection and, optionally, elbow protection.

Feel free to bring any protective gear that boosts your confidence without compromising endurance; the level of armour is entirely at your discretion. Furthermore, it’s advised to wear gloves for added safety during the clinic.

NOTE:  All camp participants earn 10% off Troy Lee Design helmets and safety gear before and while attending the camp.

Hydration & Snacks

As a significant part of our day will be spent on bikes, it’s crucial for you to stay hydrated – and it’s easy to overlook while having fun. Ensure that your water bottle or hydration pack is filled with fresh water at all times.  There is a water bottle filler in the park as well as vending machines and a Dollar Store. It’s your responsibility to maintain proper hydration throughout the activities.

Read and Sign the Waiver

Every person who enters the terrain floor must sign the waiver.  Please review the waiver and be sure to sign the waiver in advance of arrival.  One parent can not sign for another parent’s child!
