'd be happy to join in with the coaching team. Obviously, I have a full time job already that will take precedence however, I'd love to be able to give back to the community when I can and I've always loved coaching, especially youth and women.
A little backgrounder info on me:
As a teenager I started by helping with the Kids of Mud program in Winnipeg as a group leader helping to coach/lead kids ages 6-12ish. During this time I did my NCCP level 1 & 2 (pre-2000)
Once in University I completed my Level 3 NCCP and my degree focus was in Coaching
In 2005 I attended the National Coaching Institute in Victoria, BC and completed my Level 4 NCCP certification.
I was hired by the Rundle Mountain Cycling Club in 2006 to create and run their youth programs (after school programs and summer camps)
I ran several after school and learn-to-ride programs through the City of Victoria
Also did many Learn-to-ride programs through MEC and Dirty Girlz Bike Club
In 2009 I attended Capilano University's Mountain Bike Operations program and completed Endless Biking's instructors course (Level 1 PMBI I believe)
In 2013 I completed my Level 2 PMBI certification, and taught a women's only weekend through Drift Cycling in Comox valley
